It has an engine immobilizer system for anti-theft. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I don't like the idea of a transponder sending a signal to my motor. Visually cued from its larger sibling, the FX, only the weak lower front chin line mars what is otherwise a very attractive styling package. Both will have the same drivetrain; with or without AWD, but the AWD versions will have a bit less in terms of final gear ratio, probably in a quest to equalize fuel economy as much as possible. The CX comes with 18 inch wheels and tires, while the CXL rides on 19 inchers. If you anticipate doing tons of miles on your next ride, you might want to look at the relative availability and pricing between those 2 sizes. You may opt for the 18's. 2011 Mercedes GLK 350The 2011 GLK350 is Mercedes entry level crossover and its priced very well. Based on the C series platform, initial reports were very positive, and I like the space maximizing profile. Don't pass this one by without at least scoping it out. Yeah, it's THAT good. The 268hp V6 is again mated to the very good 7 speed automatic. Yet another web failure prevented me from confirming the AWD equipped GLK 350 price, so I'll give you my educated guess at $37,500. Not bad since used ones are bringing nearly the same money.
